I hope JJBeguin will respond to this challenge with his own comments/critiques. I think it's hideously fascinating to be challenged to emulate/copy/adhere to another photographers' style. Please weigh in JJ!

There should be a way to compare JJs ranking to regular ranking.

I'm back on the old continent since few days now and will leave as much comments as possible (it is not an exercise I excel at...) while I peruse through this intimidating volume of inspired pictures!

This should be fun though. JJ

That must be your highest avg score ever given ;)

Think you gave me a five, but I deserve it, not JJ enough.

Yup -- declining here -- but still incredibly pleased to be a bit above 6.

Well, I was delighted to touch 6 a day ago but it didn't last. Steady decline now. Having looked at the many, many wonderful entries, I do not expect much in terms of a finish. But I still think my entry is worth a 6.

I just finished leaving a quick note to every one in the challenge. My spelling corrector and french-english dictionary are in overdrive and so am I. I hope I will not disgruntled anyone with some of my comments; no offense was meant in any case. It was a pleasure.
And I feel very honored my work was chosen to inspire a challenge of this quality.

also, for those who are game: There is a genuine jjbeguin in the lot, can you spot it?
03/17/2015 07:24:19 PM · #47
And thank you for the words, and for looking so thoroughly.

Jean-Jacques, thanks for the years of inspiration. I think I've spotted the real jjbeguin.
