This was Wk20: I'd planned to submit it for Landscape challenge but wasn't able to upload it.

And this was a second bridge option. I've lost track of the weeks but I'd guess Week 19 1/2!

Week 24: Lake Earl with foggy sunset. I was out looking for potential road signs and this caused me to stop the car and return to capture this image....

wow, we're at week 24 all ready? I sorta missed weeks 8-23.
Here's a few to make up for some missed weeks.

week 23 - I need to catch up

What happens when you don't have your regular camera on you but you still have your old point and shoot .. doesn't do good on the storms because we had some awesome lightning going on.. all my point and shoot captured because it was too slow LOL! Was able to capture the tail end of the strike plus some strobbing that was going on

Week 24

a sunset from the other day

Week 25

I found my new addiction in photoshop.. Brushes that does effects hahaah
So much fun
I added this little brush to this image and I did not care for this photo much because I was focusing on other things when this little guy stepped infront and photobombed what I was taken a photo of, had to laugh, sooo the end result, pretending to be a super hero of iron man haha

I'm so focused on the DPL that I haven't had time to do my photo per week.... Hopefully I will be caught up soon!

Me too but at least I can post some panos which would be illegal in a challenge, tho' I feel like I'm making you guys sit through a slideshow of my trip lol.

Week 26:
Sunset over Florence

Week 25 - I decided to break a few "rules" (not laws) and walked out to the end of the Crescent City jetty. It was totally safe when I went, but can be really dangerous in high seas. We have had multiple people swept off this jetty to their deaths, but I took a calculated risk when the seas were calmer than bathwater. I also played with some filters on these images. Still expanding my skill set in post processing.

Ok getting out of my comfort zone for shooting people..
Have not spent time on editing this, this is RAW straight out of the camera basically.

Had fun with this one, first time using and learning how to customize a grey card for custom white balance.. kinda interesting and fun, soooooo here is my first shot for people
Suggestions/CC always welcome.. from a local band

Week 27

I was practicing fireworks again, really hard when you are right there with the hubby with the set up and have to be there as they are being lit off.. The good thing, I am able to get more of the abstract of the fireworks, bad news, I can't get the pretty fireworks that are seen far away LOL BUT.. setting them up and then being right there when they go off.. priceless.

Had the timing down this year pretty good, still going through 500 shots hahaha

two of my favorite shots so far
