Wow! some harsh voters out there. After a lousy start (5.200 after 4 votes I slowly clawed up a little higher to 5.6 after 7 votes and then in one giant foul swoop one voter cast me down the ladder again to 5.100 at 8 votes.
Edited to add:
I really feel that there should be some sort of feature implemented where, when a voter casts a really low vote like say between 1 and 2, the voter should be obliged to give a reason as to why he/she is giving such a low vote.
The feature could consist of a low vote between 1 and 2 not being registered unless an explanation is also given. That way at least the photographer can learn something as well and get to know the reason for the image being low-voted.

Well, I'm quite happy with mine - not with the score, of course, but with the entry. Didn't expect a 6, but did and do think it merits a 5.5. After reading these reports, I'm not feeling quite as bad.

up to 4.75 with probably the best comment I've ever received, from LanndonKane. I truly don't care what my score is anymore, I've succeeded in what matters, and I really mean that. :)
