"Still have my X-T1. which works great. Though the rubber "cover" providing grip over the metal camera is loose on the right side and moves around a bit. (Known problem with the X-T1.) "
I had this too. Mine came off completely in the end. I just glued it back down - not a huge issue.

I got the X-T30 (to replace the X-E2) after a lot of thought.
Yes, water is a problem but not enough for me to get the X-T3 for that reason - this last one is heavier also and I try to reduce weight as much as possible.
Did not learn well my new camera so far - seems like setting the ISO is in 3 steps, a wee more complicated; battery and memory card together etc
Somehow X-T30 seems a bit more fragile but it could be my impression.
I am amazed by the quality of sensor etc. |

I just map the ISO function to the AEL button and then it's easy. I don't use AEL anyway.
Yes, the sensor is great as is the size of the camera.
You might want to consider this add on though...

It's a bit large but if you like the viewfinder more than the screen like me, it helps to block stray light. That's one design flaw of the X-T30, the eyecup doesn't have a rubber attachment like the bigger models. This fixes that.

I am afraid I don't understand this. But I'll try to figure it out.
I wear glasses so I am fine alternating between viewfinder and screen. BTW, I am in two minds about using the tilted screen. Was told that it can get defected easier.
I have a 27 mmm lens but I doubt that I can use it much with X-T30.
Just saw that they came up with X-T200, lightweight etc.
