Well, it's been over an hour and nobody else posted a witty score thread title.

I'm not expecting too much from this one.

The score has a solidly hollow ring to it.

Exactly what I expected from my entry

When the subject is something as boring as "concrete", it is clearly a real challenge to strike the best balance between keeping that boring thing as the subject (but having a very 'blah' photo), or dressing it up to make a nice image (at the cost of the boring thingy being somewhere in the photo, but no longer being the subject).

And yet, some people managed to do just that - well done !!!!

You have given an average score of 5.9444.

Looks like I completely missed the point of the challenge. I thought it would be sufficient if I had a concrete subject in frame.
Concrete is the challenge with no other reference of how this is to be interpreted leaving it pretty much open in my view

Apparently my entry does not scream CONCRETE loud enough. Or, perhaps it's just not that compelling an image. Nah, that couldn't be the issue, right?

At the upper end of the range I anticipated for this one.

Actually, I don't think the subject is boring at all. Lots of interesting looking things are made out of concrete, and lots of good textures for light to play off of. I had a quick look over the other entries and there was some very good stuff in there.

Was out shooting today and remembered a place I could have gotten an interesting shot for the challenge. Oh, well. :-(

Floating about where expected. One critical comment. A very accurate one, that mirrors my own feelings about what is lacking.

Pretty decent for something that had not turned out as well as I'd hoped.

I have voted and commented, and committed many miracles of concrete ascension.
