Well my framing photo didn't do very well. Not sure why because not many people comment on this site anymore. Here was my other option for this challenge. I wonder if it would have done better?

What was your entry?

This was my entry in frames

I don't tend to comment because people too often want to be told how brilliant they are, but can't cope with negative critism. If you are happy to hear an HONEST opinion, please message me and I will take the time to give you my opinion (for whatever that may be worth to you).

I think you chose the right one. I was one of your 8s.

I think maybe the outtake would have done better, now...

I don't think most people considered that her legs framed the ball.

In the outtake, she is framed by the lanes.

Oh well.

I definitely "got" the framing. Glad to see someone still enjoys bowling:)

My TPL teammate, ShaneBlake, told me my subject was too small. Two of my three commenters agreed.

Outtakes:

The day after voting started, a took some really killer framed shots.

For what it's worth, I like this one best and I think it would have scored well for the challenge.

It really helps me when I get constructive criticism, and I try to improve my future images in that area. As part of the creative process you have to "love" your photo, or why would you submit it for a challenge? I think after processing a photo it is easy to lose perspective and become blind to the flaws in the image. Great comments help you keep it "real" and also help elevate your future images. Thank you to all members that take the time to comment on the photos! You are why we come to DPC and participate!

Out of these three, I like the building! It would have been a very different shot than others in the challenge.

I like the one you entered, it is more interesting than the frontal shot of the building.

I loved your entry, and think it is the best of the 3 images. The other two aren't bad, but the kitty is more interesting, and it did pretty well too!

I like both of these images more than the one you entered.... Sorry to be blunt. They both have much more interesting subjects on the other side of the frame!
