Hi everybody... I am new here tonight. I found this site when I was looking for a tutorial in splash photography. I am not new to photography but I am new to many other areas of photography not having to do with airplanes. I am wanting to branch out to other areas and so I enrolled myself in a certificate course in photography which will start next month.
I would like to be able to feel my way around here first to see if I am capable of being creative enough to join in the challenge and perhaps comment in a few posts here and there.
I hope I will be welcomed here with open arms and open mind ... just as I will accept all of you the same.

I have learned so much from this site. If you let it, the challenges will pull you out of your comfort zone and make you grow tremendously in your skills. For don't we grow the most when challenged?

Welcome to DPC. I will ditto everyone else when saying that this is a great community. Both for learning about photography, and pushing your boundaries but also to meet and interact with some fantastic people whose posts will make you laugh and inspire you as an individual.
