Shall we say 5 days to post?
DPCers, this SC may require more time to gather pictures but it does not need to be the "ultimate" effort of our ambition.

Thanks, Mariuca, for starting us off with a posting thread.
I look forward to seeing all the new work.
Here's my attempt at this month's essay.
It should be easily accessible by clicking through the boxes at the left.

Here's my essay. I've linked the title of the essay to the first image below:

Models, Nudes and Blur: A Retrospective

There is some nudity but the general blurriness (for the most part) offers some model modesty.

In the preamble (in the notes of the first image) to the photo essay, I try to explain my motivation for shooting nudes. In many ways, the images in this essay capture more in terms of the art of the process and what interests me than the somewhat more contrived and 'well-presented' images I enter (from time to time) at DPC.

Thanks for looking.

I'm a little disappointed that we only received 7 photo essays for April. For me, this has been a rewarding exercise. The diversity of ideas and presentations stands apart from other side challenge I've seen on DPC. As usual, what interests the DPC community doesn't align with my thinking. Off to read "Last Wins" for a while.

Although I was not inspired this month, I promise to continue to participate in this side challenge.
And 7 essays is 7 to thoroughly enjoy. Thank you. I will finish commenting.

I think 7 photo essays are an abundance.

I took my whole series of shots but been so busy with moving just haven't had the chance to edit/compile them. I'll try to get them together this weekend, if not, then they'll be ready for May.

Nice to see some activity here. And yes, I'm grateful for the 7 essays.

Been so busy I haven't had time to edit and post mine - maybe I'll get chance at the weekend.

I don't know who had the idea of a photo essay every other month. It's more realistic than a monthly one.

Since I started the April essay thread I suggest that we do not close the deadline for posting and keep it until May 1.

I also suggest that the next one be a "May photo essay" to be viewed in June so that we can have almost two months to gather thoughts and images.

Any word / suggestion from the founding fathers of this idea?
