In my opinion this is the best sunset photo I HAVE taken, I know their are hundreds on this site that are better. I shared it with my local weather news and on Facebook it has over 300 shares and over 2230 likes.

Can you guess what created the reflection?

Alexkc, car is correct. I was driving home after trying to get a photo for the fences challenge when the sunset surprised me. I was running out of time and do not have a tripod. So I pulled over in a parking lot and placed the camera on top of the car. Using a 2 second time and three frames I took this photo. It amazed me how luck I was at getting the shot. It is crop because there's a shopping center to the left with a large sign.

Cool! I should look for opportunities to do this deliberately - maybe I'll get my car washed before I go out again.

Funny you should say that. I had my car washed and waxed that morning. In the picture you can't tell the car is gold in color. :)

This sounds like a brilliant challenge suggestion. Hmmm, how to word it?

Landscape reflections without water.
Create a beautiful landscape that appear to be reflecting off water...but isn't!
Advanced editing.

Suggestions on wording?

I have used the hood and roof of my car many times for reflections. Having a gray car helps.
