I think it's from Shakespeare. I wasn't hitting on him...

LOL... I was posting before you wrote that. Yup, Shakespeare...

Then I have to wonder what you posted in reference to. I paid him a compliment. Are those not allowed now?

Well, now this is getting personal. I wonder what Bear's going to do about it.

But, yes. Guilty. And they're next-to-impossible to find in my size in the wrinkle-free variety (Mrs. bvy isn't exactly handy with an iron). I wonder if there's a poem about white pants...

Not sure, but in the "Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" one can find the following:

"Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach?
I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach.
I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each."

I hope that helps a bit.

Haha! You beat me to it! When I saw the white pants poem query, I was primed to go all Prufrockian. WTG Ray, who knew you had poetry in ya?

Not much of a score thread, is it? But then, maybe the title is a misnomer.

I have 76 votes.

No white pants, but I am a strange husband.

what is so singular about strange husbands?
I gave up the idea of collecting ages ago. and now I have some votes but not a single white pant.

I have 6 comments and no white pants. But it's after labor day, so I wouldn't wear them anyway!

I now have 77 votes. The thing about the number of votes is that it can only go up.

There was the time, in sixth grade, I wore tight white polyester pants with no undies to school. And it was indoor PE day. Crawling around on the floor.

Mega embarrassing.

Never did it again.

But perhaps killed this thread.

I think this is the scores thread: Extremely boring 01/2014 FS Scoring Thread. But there are not many scores posted either.

Now I have 85 votes and my score coincidentally has risen - it's certainly within Top 20 range.

ha. you must have been wearing your white pants. I am certainly in the bottom 20 (black pants).
