This is good news. However with the overwhelming amount of work that needs done. Do you think that just adding one is enough? From reading the DPChat transcript and the forums I thought they had hoped to add more than 1?

Always at least one negative...sigh

Asking a question regarding if they are adding more to help reduce the load of the SC isn't being negative.

I'm really tired of your comments towards me in the forums this week. If you have a problem with me, send it to me through PM and we can fix it.

I'm delighted to hear of your appointment to SC, Bear.
Your presence will be a great addition to the hardworking volunteers who staff the Site Council.

Woot! Glad to hear, that should pump some life blood into the site. Well deserved Bear and the Langdon. Could this be the beginning of some new changes? Maybe? Perhaps? :)

...What do you bribe a bear with anyway... Salmon?...

Unless there are allergy issues, I'm pretty sure the Bear could be bribed with a nice box of Pacific Northwest or Alaskan Smoked Salmon...

In case there are those who didn't notice the nuance of the avatar, the "tie" on the bear was meant to be a musical note :) Scalvert did a great job of putting that icon together :)

What kind of music does a bear listen to anyway? The Beartles? Bearry White? Bearnaked Ladies?

This is what bears listen to

I imagine bears listen to Paul Hindemith.

In fact, I like to think our own bear_music sounds like a tuba when he listens to his own voice.

Ahh, yes. Nice job, Shannon.

eta: I probably could've done without the magnifying glass for effect, but what fun would I have then?
