I have much to say, but I'll stay quiet pending the Bronco's game on Sunday vs. the Chargers.

I can say it for you. Denver vs. San Francisco in the SB. That was my prediction months ago, and I still can't see it any other way.

However, the Patriots have finally shown up in a game before the last minute. Where has this sudden powerhouse of a team been all year?

Or, … Broncos vs Seahawks. Low probability 49ers can win in Seattle.

I'm a Seattle fan but was trying for the reverse jinx. Dang it! How do I reverse the jinx from mentioning the reverse jinx?!

As a Charger. When I was shooting for them. I'm a San Diego native.

Go Broncos.

Broncos vs Seattle in the SB, old school AFCW match up.

I would like Peyton to take the whole shebang.

But truthfully, as long as Carolina or 49ers don't take it, I'll be happy.

A lot of the media seem to already be giving the cup to Seahawks.

Go Broncos! I am looking forward to next Sunday's matchup for AFC title between the formidable NE Patriots and Denver Broncos in Denver. We will all be treated to two of the best QBs in NFL history. It's truly to be a historic game. And, the winner will go on to win the Super Bowl.

Absolutely! It's hard to over-hype this game. In many ways, it's the "real" Super Bowl this year.

Next Sunday, January 19, 2014. Broncos vs. Patriots play at 1:05 pm MST in Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The forecast is for sunshine, 8mph winds and 53º. That is pretty good for mid-January and should support a great passing duel.

Seahawks vs 49ers is the *real* game. Regardless of who wins, the Super Bowl will be anticlimactic.

I read an article this morning that said that the Seahawks won't sell tickets to you if your credit card is attached to a California address.

Go Hawks!

Anticlimactic? Why do you say that?

I think a Broncos vs Seahawks game will be awesome. A great running and throwing spectacle.

If the Broncos and Patriots play as they did the last couple days, next Sunday they will leave nothing on the field but blood and sweat. Looking forward to this one. Go Pats.

The forecast for Denver on Sunday, 1/19/14 is for 62º, sunny and 8 mph breeze. That is 20º above normal.

Tickets for the Patriots-Broncos showdown are now listing at an average of $798.63 on the secondary market.

Brady missed the New England Patriots’ practice and the quarterback’s scheduled media availability was canceled, too.

Probably better than what they'll see in Seattle ... :-(

ooh, I have to disagree with Robert's view that the "real" Super Bowl is the AFC Champ game. We're going to be treated to a "real" Super Bowl no matter who wins on Saturday and Sunday. Two of the best offenses on the AFC side and two of the best defenses on the NFC side. Offense vs. defense. Irresistible force versus immovable object. yummy. The only potential bugaboo is the weather. It would be weak to determine the champ in adverse conditions.

I'm counting on Gov. Christie bullying any inclement weather into submission ... ;-)

Well, yes, of course it is the Real Game.
And true enough, California folk are not allowed in the Seattle stadium. Must be those Seattle Seabirds are afraid their '12th man defense'
might be diffused by the gentle "GO 9ers" us mellow Californians might exude if we were allowed.
(quiet cheer) Go 49ers. shhhh, not so loud. don't wake up those Seagulls hawkies.

Not true - they were just prohibited from buying tickets during the initial sale, but there will likely be a few niners fans that get in.

I was an avid Niners fan in the 80's era when I lived in the Bay Area. I've been in Seattle for 24 years now, so I have finally assimilated and am rooting for the Hawks. It should be an epic battle regardless.

edited to restate in my 12th man voice:

Well, Ken, I sure hope your tonsils hold out. Those seaburds will need all the 12th man help they can get.

Forecast for Seahawks Sunday is dry, maybe some clouds, high in the 40's, so the Niners won't be able to blame their loss on the weather.

Getting ready to watch the game. Talking heads all say Broncos, I'm hoping the Pats shut them up..

I'd like to see a Broncos-49ers Super Bowl, but I think it will be Broncos-Seahawks.

I got a kick out of this. Go Hawks!

I had a hard time taking a picture this week that didn't have a Russell Wilson jersey or a 12th man flag in it somewhere.

Even the police are in on it...

The Broncos win the AFC Championship 26-16 over a very fine NE Patriots team. Kudos to Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the Patriots for a strong effort. But, it was Peyton Manning's day. Btw, the Patriots would have beaten either of the NFC finalists had they prevailed over the Broncos.

Watching Peyton Manning is a joy. He is the best. He is the best quarterback ever.

Bring on the west coast NFC team. Either one is fine. See you at MetLife stadium in New Jersey in two weeks.
