Patriots @ Broncos
49ers @ Seahawks

To be honest, I think this year I'm going to root for the officials ... to get it "right" ...

I'm getting sick of seeing games decided by horrible calls, and the new replay rules and technologies seem to be making it worse ... :-(

Not a Sea Hawk, nor a Sea Eagle. Taima.

Dunno. Certainly seems like the bounty program is alive and well in New Orleans.

The Seahawks are dominant. Is that typical weather in Seattle? :-)

I suppose I should check in with a big
GO 49ers
considering this is their last season in San Francisco
They will be moving 50 miles down the peninsula to Santa Clara/San Jose next year.

With the Seahawks advancing and holding home field for the NFC title game, that means the last game has already been played at Candlestick. Sad.

OK here we go.................GO PATS

Even though they lost, I think Drew Brees was man of the game.

I'm a saints fan but predicted a Seattle / New England Super Bowl when the playoffs started. I think they are the dominant teams right now.

I can't believe the Seahawks beat the Saints twice in postseason now. They seam to be the NFC team of destiny for the past few years.

I have much to say, but I'll stay quiet pending the Bronco's game on Sunday vs. the Chargers.

I'm afraid I have to root the Chargers there, being as I used to shoot for them on the sidelines. But when they lose (which they probably will) I'm looking forward to another epic Brady-Manning battle. We're fortunate to have lived in this football era, to have seen it all. Heck, I got to shake hands with Johnny Unitas on the sidelines, and here I am in my dotage watching Andrew Luck blossom (though hopefully he drops a few petals tonight).

I can say it for you. Denver vs. San Francisco in the SB. That was my prediction months ago, and I still can't see it any other way.

However, the Patriots have finally shown up in a game before the last minute. Where has this sudden powerhouse of a team been all year?

Imagine if you combine the two Manning brothers. You'd have a QB capable of winning in both the regular season and post season, not to mention one capable of beating the Patriots on a regular basis.

Did you meet Johnny U as a Baltimore Colt, or as a Charger?

Or, … Broncos vs Seahawks. Low probability 49ers can win in Seattle.

No love for the Panthers? They beat the 49ers in San Fran, as well as the Patriots and almost beat the Seahawks in Seattle had it not been for a red zone fumble late in the game.
