Discuss the Final TPL Results here!

Congrats to our winners, High Five Shooters!
(UNREAL how close this was - the effort here by both teams is astonishing, well done, all of you!)

Cory,

Thanks for all your hard work on putting the TPL together. I think you had some helpers as well. Not sure who they are but a BIG thanks to them as well. I know for me, TPL kept me around DPC long enough to realize how important it is to me. Thanks

Jeff

I always add a photo. All threads should have photos!

Wait, are we supposed to post here or in the results thread? I don't wanna get yelled on by Cory (so scaryyy).

Anyway, I just wanted to congratulate High Five Shooters once again - extraordinary job you guys!

Now just taking care of the trauma related to the finals :D

Cory, hajeka and everyone else involved in organizing and putting in all the work related to TPL2 - thank you very much. You were on it the whole time and TPL2 was a lot of fun thanks to you!

Once again Congratulations High Five Shooters!
Best Wishes to everyone,

- Beata

Man, all I do is post the thread these days.

Thank Hajeka, MAK, Epsi, and Damon! Especially Hajeka for coding so much wonderful stuff this season, and MAK for kick-starting this whole thing two seasons ago. Feel free to go give them a few comments as a gift, I know they'd love it! ;)

Thanks guys!!

And an even bigger thank you to all the players, this wouldn't happen without you!

Fantastic result, great images. I like to congratulate both teams with their outstanding performances and of course the High Five Shooters with their ultimate victory. And the organisers of TPL with yet another great team challenge. Thanks for all you've done !

Ending with some nick picking: with a threshold of 2.08, should the result grahamgator vs. beatabg not be 1.5 - 1.5?

Great finale with great images from both teams.
Congratulations ALL of you.
A tremendous job also from the crew behind it.
The way they stood by the teams in moments of difficulties can only be called fan-freaking-tastic.

Since the comparison was from the same challenge, the threshold wasn't needed. grahamgator was in 6th place and beatabg was in 7th. There was a clear victor. The threshold is used when comparing results from separate challenges, since the number of entries are different and placement alone is not comparable.

So hopefully 2014 will kick off the 3rd season, I know the backroom staff are busy recoding the system .. I know we will stick to random teams because this has been the very best part of the whole thing as it has meant many people have found new friends and that is what the TPL is all about at the end of the day.

Well done everyone, YOU ROCK!
