S L O W L Y climbing.
I did step out of my comfort zone... Which was what this was about.
But it's not quite the "style" of this particular person.

wow, with 4 votes I've gone down .4

so those 4 votes averaged 3.25.

I did get an unpleased comment.

Going down here as well. Someone is not liking what they see. Dropped from a low 6 to a 5.78.

As I said in another thread, it's so funny that people spend their time making people upset with their changing/silly/harsh voting. Without these voting threads their lives would be soooo empty :)

Mine has come up quite a bit from this point and I have gotten a very nice comment from the photographer I was attempting to emulate, so I am ready to declare this challenge a success and move on to another.

i think we complainers are the silly ones.

complaining about a 5.61 after 31 votes is not my style!!!

Well, Wendy, my high run seems to have hit a snag.... down to 5.6 now. There's still time for you to overtake me, it seems!

That's exactly what I meant to say. if we didn't complain of the scores they probably wouldn't enjoy their casting low votes to everyone. And of course I'm not complaining of a 6.00.

That'd be Pierre de Coubertin: "The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part . . . The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well."

Then there's Grantland Rice:

For when the One Great Scorer
comes to mark against your name,
He writes—not that you won or lost—
but how you played the game.

And this is idiotic? Why? We can only have one winner per challenge; are the rest of us idiots?
