You thought so? I enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting much though.

There were some serious flaws in the Alien side of the story line. But back to the original thought, 'Where in the World is Laurielblack', soon to be a hit computer game!

It was also rated PG-13, that was why it was lame, all the other movies were R, they wussed out to get a bunch of kids to come see it to raise ticket sales, that's why movies in large such now days. Now have you seen Napoleon Dynamite? That is hilarious, very different.

Yah, I noticed they really dumbed down the violence in AvP.. there was a row of 5 - 10 year olds in front of us too.
Man.. when *I* was 5 years old.. we didn't even get to see movies like "Gremlins".. and now they're going to Alien vs. Predator.
Oh, the times.. dey are a-changin'!

They're going to add the filmed "R" scenes back into the dvd I heard.

A couple of weeks back, I read an article about a 3 yr. old that choked on some popcorn while watching AvP with his parents. The poor child died despite the efforts of paramedics. Gee, do you think maybe the movie was just a wee bit too scary for him?

Perhaps some folks from Child Protective Services (or whatever it's called locally) might want to set up an "information" table in the theater lobby ... : )

Not that they'd be taking down names or anything ....

Laurie, your audience are waiting!!

I don't worry about someone not being online for just a single day unless they had said they had strong intentions to be so... real life does have a habit of intervening sometimes.

Hope you're having fun, Laurie, whatever you are up to!

Her last post was of her photographer fantasy -- maybe she got a wild-hair and went and did it. In which case it may be a while before we hear from her again.

I just read her fantasy. The girl really needs to get around a little more, she's so hung up on Texas.

So we can list the coordinates of her GPS transponder?

Sure, why not, we can do some coordinate transforms to covert her latitude and longitude coordinates to polar coordinate with the origin placed at the center of the sun. Should be a BLAST! Of course we'll have to do it old school, with pencil, paper and a RPN calculator.

If you want to get really crazy, we can get out the old slide rule and log tables.......
