Wow! The tribute shots are incredible! I'm going to wait until tomorrow to vote so that I can spend longer than usual to absorb the beauty.

I just finished voting but it was difficult, and I didn't really 'know' Shez like the rest of you. How can any of these get a low score? Such lovely memories, truly heartfelt.

As I vote - which I haven't yet - I will vote in the spirit of Shez - no, I won't come close as she was so special but I will do my best to see the meaning in each and every tribute - because these aren't photos to me - they are tributes .. Bless all of you who took the time to shoot the final photo for the most gracious person who was ever a member of DP.

I don't know how you can vote on this challenge. It's for her, and us, and scores seem very unimportant.

Literally I give all the credit for that score to little Shez! No matter what happens I am so honored

This is going to be one of those where everyone scores high out of sympathy or tribute.

Like the For Dallas where the scores skewed so that the top 45 entries were 6+ (nearly 50%).

I'll appreciate the comments more than the score.

klkitchens I will have a lot more respect for the people who might have given a higher score out of respect for a woman who took her (truly) valuable time to really look at the entries than I will for someone who is looking for technical perfection.

There comes a time when understanding a lost soldiers motives outweigh DP normal expectancy of excellence.

There are many entries/challenges a week where one can use their (discerning?) eye to score an entry. I choose to pick my (battles for loss of a better word) with a more compassionate eye.

How about everyone score honestly for once, she did - just a thought!

That would do her more honor than inflated voting.

Shez always scored fairly to my way of remembering .. are we going to argue over that? My point was she took her time and didn't vote in 1 second scores .. she (to the best of my recollection) took time to see what others (including me) missed. That was my point ... not to negate her by handing out high scores but to honor her by taking time to vote.

Ohh and neat I am way below your score so it's not a cry to get a high vote - it's a gentle reminder to honor the woman who took such pleasure out of seeing what others (including me) didn't take the time to look at ... my plea is just let this one challenge be one where we all take a few minutes to really look at what the photographer was portraying. Please, this is a special challenge, lets keep it that way. My apologies if I misspoke - or mistyped I guess.

I don't think anyone was arguing with you. I was just observing from the "early returns" that this will skew abnormally high for sentimental reasons instead of on image quality.

So people with a 6.5 don't think they have a ribbon and might barely make top 20

Amazing job everyone! Shez would be so happy...

I didn't see anything with any of them that would be offensive.

Judging from previous posts this is well below par. But I expected as much. Looking at the thumb nails I feel this will be a high average result. And justifiably too. Don't score lower because you feel everyone else will score higher due to emotion. Score each entry as it you feel best for the challenge. I know I will.
