… with whom I used to battle it out in varying quantities of pixels??

I might try and get my hand in here again soon. Anyone care to sum up DPC activity over the last 29 months?!

Cheers
Jon

The fact that you didn't get a dozen replies within 5 minutes should pretty much answer your question.

Ah Shannon - you're probably right. I never liked any of 'em anyway!

Hope you're well.

Well, Jon, we played in the same playground before, but you had more pixels than I ever attained (or ever will)...but wonderful to see your Imagineer name in the threads once again.

Anything happen while you were 'away' he asks? She smiles sweetly and with a lady-like murmur, says "Oh, nuthin', honest."

Oh! I see you have the Doom Watch shot. Welcome back! You left, I guess, before I signed on, but if scalvert is glad to see you, that's enough for me!

I'd give you a full run down, but I just resurfaced after several years away myself...

Just saw a name from the past! Greetings! Welcome back - please do jump back into the DPC pool! As to summing it up things have been 1 to 10 and everything in between:-P :-)

Well, you might not be able to prove it by me, but some folks have lives away from DPC, especially during USA daytime ... ;-)

Welcome back man, still a few oldies around.

Probably the most powerful image I've seen on DPC. Without trying to blow smoke up your ass this is the image I strive for and has set the bar for me.

Welcome back.

Hola, Jon! I've missed you, anyway :-)

I do remember you, and the monument project you worked on.

I'm still here, mainly because for $25 American Bucks, this is one of the few places that will have me.

Nice to see you back, even if only for a visit.

Awwww, heck's bells. I thought Bear would be just the one to sum up our last 29 months of activity in sweet, succinct & perhaps subversive language. And all we get is "I've missed you" !

Nevertheless, we're mostly all here, some are still hiding in the bushes, but still around. But as I said before (and until someone contradicts me, it still stands) "Nuthin' happened. Honest."

There's this one too; both of them by teenagers who've joined since Jon left :-)

But Doomwatch is still the archetype of the genre :-)

same old, same old ;-) some names have changed, but not much else...

except that if you've got monster photoshop skills, you can try your hand at the Worth1000 expert challenges.

cheers, mate!

There are fewer and fewer 'out there'. Would the last person to leave please turn out the lights and lock the door.

:)

So DPC finally succumbed to the editing junkies. Well it was always heading that way and just glancing at the gallery it does look like the Instagram fetish is having an impact here too.

Thanks for the kind comments, and good to see some friendly faces! As a 'vanilla' member now it may be some time before I feel like taking part, but I'd favour the Opens anyway to avoid the 'Worth 1000's!

Anyone made an appearance here that has turned heads? Good strong pure photography?

Enlightened - glad to hear it!!

gcoulson - thanks
