I think you mean announced Mar 6th, voting to start on Mar 13th, and results to be announced on Mar 20th?

So we need to have an entry for "B is for _____ Challenge"

Nope. The first challenge that will count toward TPL will be announced at rollover next Tuesday/Wednesday.

Way back when, Bear_Music proposed a list of guidelines for this competition which approximated the "restrictions" of the original leagues back when they were run officially. Those included not voting for images entered by teammates and, to ensure that you did not, showing your entries to your teammates before voting started whether you asked for feedback from them or not. He made other points, but these two struck me as eminently fair. Even though they could not be enforced either by SC or by those running the tournament for us (thank you so much!), I wonder if they or a modified version (by those running the tournament) of them could be re-published in this thread or somehow sent to every team captain for dispersal or something. I really do expect everyone to "play fair" - but it would be nice to know what "fair" is before we start.

We're on like Donkey Kong!!!

Quick question... Still going to run smoothly with the double challenge? Langdon really has it out for anyone trying to do a team based tournament it seems. Last time we had like 4 or so weeks of weird challenge dates. This time it starts out with a double challenge. We'll see. :)

I'm excited to start anyways.

Langdon rocks, clever solution to the problem of the debate... plus it proves he read the thread...

I have no doubt we will make this work fine.

To be honest, I didn't even read the thread that was talking about the challenge suggestion. School has been kicking my butt these days. Well as long as you're confident then I will let you coders be to do the dirty work... ;)

Many thanks to the organizers for pulling this off despite the difficulties and hurdles.

Can we be reminded of the TPL rules? I know it's in the other threads, but it is kind of discussed across multiple messages, so it would be good to consolidate it.
Also, is there a page we can see the schedule, results, current standing, etc?

I'll let someone else cover the rules - but as for stats, results, etc, that will be posted weekly in a thread here.

Just thought I'd let you all know I'm not in TPL, so if you see a photo which looks like mine you don't need to lowball it, lol!!!

I know scores are atrociously low during this period ;--------)

DPC Time aka current server time - always displayed in the lower right hand corner at the bottom of every page. (At the moment GMT -5hrs)

Either. You can choose the advanced editing or the minimal editing. It's a one or the other choice. :)

That's not at all clear. I would have thought you could submit to both. Will there be something that keeps us from submitting to the second Portrait challenge once we've submitted to the first?

I mean, I can see why the TPL parameters might require that team members pick one or the other, but I'm not seeing any indication of a restriction in the challenge descriptions.

This is back to the old rules of exclusive challenges: when you submit to one, it locks the other.

There is a bit of confusion on our team as to the first challenge of the TPL; I thought it was Portrait, others think it is Smoke. Who is right?
