Does he still have his camera?

I'm pretty certain he must still have it along with his new mate Found
12/14/2015 01:25:32 PM · #778
yep, camera and bunch of other items are still in the box. i just shot images with "lost" alone though.

is there still a place for us to upload the images?
12/14/2015 07:05:33 PM · #779
There was a place set up at one time but that seems so long ago now... I think the best plan would be when Lost finally completes his journey back to UK I will post a thread with an upload and ask people to submit their personal favourite 4 shots all edited in as high res as possible then I will design a book, have it printed and then auction it through Children in Need to raise money for children with Cancer, I will make sure that the CIN know about the dedication and efforts made by the members of this website and try to get a plug for our beloved DPC

Maybe when you design the book, you can print a limited edition as a "photo book" for auctioning-off (you could autograph it), but also post it for anyone else to order through a print-on-demand service or as an ebook as a continuing source of donations.

Great idea. At least everyone involved deserves a copy in print. I will make that happen. The benefit for the auctioned copy is that Lost and all his friends and stuff will be included in the sale.

Wow no update since December? Did we really loose him?

I was going through photographs and found his visit to my place!

Not only that but I have had no interest from the children's charity either... it was fun

Last I heard, he and "Found" landed in Hawaii.
So, if he didn't finish his world-wide journey, at least the duo found a bit of paradise to roam around in.

I was next on the list but I've yet to receive them. Mind you, I'd prefer to reside in Hawaii too!

Cuttooth, are you on the 'hot seat' for sending the duo along?
Or are the mails realllllllly on a slow boat to below the equator?

No, based on what Cuttooth told us mid December I think Jeff Chalice is the one on the hot seat.

Well, Lost was handing over in person to Jeff Chalice who wanted to have him/her to stay with him for a couple of weeks to get some pics

04/01/2016 12:55:24 PM · #792
sfalice and I both separately contacted Jeff Chalice. I know because Alice included me in her PM :-). We've just heard back ~ thanks for the prompt replies Jeff.

Lost is alive and well. Life, in the form of travel in this case, plus the intention to take some more shots of Lost, got in the way of Jeff sending him on to the next person. Jeff tells us that he has Pamb's address and will send our penguin friend on to her this weekend. Great news!

What a pity this project lost momentum once the little penguin left Europe.

my facebook "on this day" app reminded me it was 3 yrs ago that I hosted Lost for 3 days (at that time we were keeping to the schedule). It would be nice if some of the other hosts would post the images in the facebook group.

The thing that amazes me is that it is actually still going on and even though it has been 3 whole years (OMG) we still have a project and we still have the support of this community. I think that alone is a miracle..

Absolutely. Hopefully it will keep moving and you'll finally get him back home :)
