I don't know why but i have always loved animated gif's, these are great and border on creepy

Yup, seen quite a few of those and it gives meaning to "living/moving picture":-) Would love it if DPC would do a challenge like this but DPC doesn't support animated gifs:-(

The ones with eye contact have always seemed a bit creepy to me. Here's one I made a few months ago when I first learned how:

The subreddit for Cinemagraphs is usually active and impressive, too. There are probably tons on tumblr, but I won't be the one to sift through all that stuff.

Sounds like a challenge suggestion to me.

Eta: Forgot, gifs/pngs are only allowed in portfolios not challenges. Never mind.

These are a lot of fun! I made this one a few summers ago. They are a lot easier to put together than they appear.

DPC does support animated GIFs in the Portfolio section, just not for entries.

I just spent 10 minutes staring at the relaxing tea gif on reddit.

That's it. I'm trading my iPhone for a cinemagraph machine.
