I have an awesome idea, time to see if I have the balls to pull it off.

Going by the types of things you've previously shown us I'm hoping this isn't literal.

DNMC: right foot, both feet in the shot, any other body part showing? Oh how the nazi's rub their hands with glee.

"That appendage at the end of your left leg is not 12 inches long... DNMC!"

I'm going to photograph my right foot and then flip the image.

Grrrr

DNMC is a fault of the entry, not the voter. Don't lump trolls in with DNMC honesty.

How would you score a shot of my cat? It sometimes sleeps on top of my left foot. ;-D
How about mushrooms? As a young field geologist, trudging daily through swamp for an entire summer, I had some pretty nasty fungus on my left foot!

You should flip the image first.

I wasn't and didn't. Neither did anyone else. I think you're getting your threads confused :)

Nah... someone implied that DNMC voters are Nazis looking for any way to vote down an image...

Personally, I don't need an excuse to vote an image down. :-D

You actually came to mind when I saw the challenge.

question ... does it have to be the photographer's foot? You think people will call out DNMC if it is obvious it wasn't the photographer's foot?

Sounds a little like a Left Foot Self Portrait Challenge to me! But I like all kinds of nice photo's regardless of the challenge description!

Good grief... now were finding "Lefties" even in DPC.

Those of us to the Right of "Attila the Hun" demand equal time. :O)

Don't know how they'd know.

You can fire the camera remotely at your foot or shoot someone else's. v

The challenge says "My Left Foot" and says to put YOUR left foot blah blah blah... I think it'd be like the 50 yards challenge where we have to trust each other. My left foot is quite far away so I have a lot more options in terms of lens selection ;)

Whenever we have such challenges the upshot is (if you want a decent score) - create a photo that looks like (not just is) your left foot.

Voters won't have any proof but they will expect to have some confidence. They challenge is to do it and be seen to do it. If someone pulls that off with something other than their left foot, we won't know and really, unless they admit to it, it won't matter.

I'm sure there will at least be some right feet with the image flipped for example. Particularly legitimate if you happen to use a mirror and want to avoid (paradoxical) 'wrong foot' allegations.
