Domain servers in listed order:
NS1.HAMARDIGITAL.COM
NS2.HAMARDIGITAL.COM

HOWEVER... I have not been able to get to Hamardigital (which is listed as https://dazzlepod.com/ip/72.34.58.20/). So I googled and found the owner was Steven Mizrahie (abuse@ihnetworks.com). Not sure who the final person is but I'll keep plugging away.

ETA: I would recommend that every DPCer check out the site's archives, as I saw numerous images taken from here. Even Samantha and Christophe have at least one of their images posted.

No one, except rosie, steals/has stolen my images, but I looked at the lbn thing and wondered. All the guy does is pick and choose (no chewing apparently) news writings from other places and cobbles them into a package. If you want a little fun read the Wikepedia for him, Michael Levine. I do b'lieve he wrote it hisself. Not that this proves anything, just a little slickness.

Johanna, that's the same info i was able to track down, although i don't have confidence as it was a zigzag getting there, especially this guy: Steven Mizrahie (abuse@ihnetworks.com) at least the route i took.

i already emailed DK designs.

Let me know if you have any success. Tony at IH sent me "I didn't steal your images". That was his entire response.

I just found this picture of mine of DJ Afrojack on some Chilean website advertising The Ultra Chile festival.

If you go to the site you can see how they cut off my watermark.

well sounds like you need to send him a bill and direct him to your lawyer.

here was my email to him:

I came across two of my images on your site that are being used without my permission, nor do they credit me in any way.

These are the images:

//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=1041884

//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=1038138

You hereby owe me $400 per image. I after paying this fee I will send you statement giving you limited rights to continue to use them for your blog. If wish not to continue to use them i expect them to be taken down immediately and still repayment of $100 per image for past use.

If you arent aware you have infringed on my copyright, my images aren't for free use. If you ignore this email and continue to use the images I make you aware that I will take legal action and under current copyright law you are liable to pay my usage fees AND any lawyer and court fees I may incur in addition to those you may incur to defend yourself.

I have taken screen shots of your site, to use as proof in any future case I may bring. You have 7 days to respond with the course of action you wish to take.

Thank you.

His statement may be entirely "true" — soeone else may have actually performed the opration, and no one "stole" a photo (unless they broke into your house and removed a print from the wall), they "infringed your copyright."

If you are going to assert your legal rights it's best to be very accurate about these things; publicly asserting someone "stole" something could be construed as libel.

@ mike_311: just want people to be aware you can only recover some of those costs if the image is actually registered with the US Copyright Office.

I'm heading out the door and will post details later, but he, in fact, is NOT the right person to contact. IH Networks (a completely different company) is the company hosting and I finally received a response.

Just FYI, I saw these three DPCer's images on LBN Archive page 1 today.

The web site seem to make it a habit to grab interesting pictures from DPC. I found yet one more of mine (on the front page):
.
You can have a look at their image archive by going to January 2013 images at LBNElert.
My images have all EXIF data in there, including copyright claims.

Please don't explicitly reference photos currently in voting ... if you want, you can submit a ticket with the info and an SC member can forward it to the photographer.

Sorry, was that directed at me? I didn't think I referenced anything but the address.

Sorry, no -- I hid the post rather than editing it. Everything in the thread is fine. If the person who posted returns they will recognize that their earlier post is gone.
