Guess I'm dumb...are you dragging thumbnails or are you going to the full sized photo page...thumbnails get me my submission page for that photo. (Maybe this is correct.)

Well I'll be - I found one of my images too - it's being used by a Doctor on this site My lighthouse shot as berean's avatar You have to scroll down some to find him. I tried to register to ask him to credit me but it denied my registration. It's this shot It's a Christian site so maybe I will get some good Karma :)
01/10/2013 11:38:24 AM · #56
im trying, but whenever i pull the image over it just loads the image in the new browser window. i got the full file name (Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_1XXXXX.jpg) and put that in google, not sure if that's what you're ending up pulling in, but if so anybody using it is a moron for leaving the copyrighted image bit of the filename in there. and when i do that i only get links to my dpc profile... i guess nobody out there thinks my images are worth poaching. ah well, i'll prove them wrong some day. just wait and see.

This is really whack....

Incidentally, I have clicked on the watermark all entries numerous times, and it will do so for a bit and then they are all gone again. WTH????

Lol h2 Who said I was Christian? The Karma is for me :)

For those that are finding it difficult to use Google images so did I until I tried this:

I opened Google and clicked on Google images - I also opened my DP portfolio and then I would grab my image and bring it over to the Google icon and once I did that the Google icon would open and the place where I usually type in my search would change to a larger spot and this notice would appear Drop images here - and when I did it would then show me if my image was on the net or not.

I am in a hurry so this might already have been explained - if so, sorry for posting the same info ..

the contact page doesn't allow enough space to type up an appropriate notice.

I've worked it out - it only works for me in Chrome. I found this:
//www.demilked.com/winter-landscape-photography/
No worries there but I also found this:
//thevotoblog.com/2012/12/21/early-christmas-gift-winter-landscapes/
It implies that the author of the blog is the author of the images. Nasty stuff.

because i am a wordpress user i am able to mark your images as infringing on a copyright, but it says "my copyright" do you have that option to report?

You know what's fascinating? At the bottom of every page in the DeMilked site (the one that actually credits the photographers) is this:

i dont know, if you read the page the say the gathered the images and gave credit under each photo. they probably just have that there for any other content not covered.

The second site actually used direct links to the first site:
//demilked.uuuploads.com/winter-landscapes/winter-landscapes-3.jpg

I asked DeMilked to block the links but how far can you go.

PS DeMilked should really offer just links and should not store the copies of other people images!

response to my comment:

Hi Mike, actually none of these images are mine. I found them from a landscape article on another blog. Are one of these yours? I can go back and see if there are any credits from the site I found these one. Sorry if my post offended you. I simply wanted to show other people these photos because I found them to be very inspiring. Let me see if I can find the other article.

Irrelevant. Next thing you know they'll be hanging infringed photos in their house because they found them inspiring. End result is still the same, the owner of the photo gets no recognition or compensation.

my bad... I can remove the article if you would like. I never claimed to be the photographer or owner of any of these images.
