As part of the ongoing search for my photographic niche, I have decided to shoot a modeling session. I was able to find a model, through OneModelPlace.com, looking to do some TFP work. I've gone through the photos and forum posts from the likes of magnetic9999, grigrigirl, and KevinRiggs, but I'm still looking for any additional advice that people may have to offer.

The model's portfolio is here, if that helps. Perhaps not the standard look, but I believe there is a lot of potential that some other photographers have missed.

Any advice is appreciated!

She says she wants to do fashion and modeling yet none of her portfolio pictures ahow that. Maybe you could round out her collection. try blue jeans - every potential model needs to prove she looks good in jeans.

Thanks! I was thinking along those lines as well and it helps to hear a similar opinion. Blue jeans and a tank top or button down shirt would seem to be some foundation elements for a portfolio, but seeing what other were doing made me start to doubt myself.
