Day 10 (April 22-May 5)
This was one of the most active times of the year for shooting and I had an incredibly difficult time selecting one photo, from all the stuff I shot.
The smile on Marshall Allen's face won the day. |

Day 9 - French Fried When He Should Have Pizza'ed
One of the grocery stores we frequent has a clothing section. My wife can spend serious time looking at the same things week in, week out. Right next to the store is a large hill that is infrequently used where all these longboarders skate down the hill. While she shops I take photos of them.

This year I got into HDR photography a little bit and explored some of the local sites shooting bracketed exposures and merging to photomatix.
This shot is interesting because the chestnut tree is 100 years old. It is a twisted old tree that seems to breath when you get close to it.

I think we're finally getting to the end of the heron's, everyone. We've made it up to the shad run. It was hard to narrow it down. But this one was a great surprise. I hadn't cropped it down this much originally, and I like the result. I should go back to old photos more often. Thanks for the side challenge! :)
