Welcome to this week's "Member of the Week" post. Every week I will post the name of a member and a link to their profile. This will be our Member of the Week. Go have a look at their profile page and/or portfolio. Enjoy their photos, leave some comments and most of all post one or two of their photos in this thread so others can see them and enjoy them. If you like you can also write a little blurb saying why you enjoy this member's photos.

This week's Member of the Week is ursula. And here are a couple of her photos.

Post one or two photos? Can't be done. This photographer takes
the mundane and translates it to the sublime again and again.
Every time I see Ursula's work, I am amazed anew.
the tines of a fork, a little running water, a few bottles...and more.

She be the queen of the abstract and the princess of narrow DoF!

Edit for fat fingers.

Ursula defines perfection and remains a hallmark in my Temple of Hero Worship. Her outstanding work is only outweighed by her remarkable, sweet, and generous character. Her talent does not define itself by any set of editing rules but has such versatility as to be independent of such. No matter where she goes or what she does, she defines the phrase, "Cream always rises to the top."

Just the other day a newer member PM'd me, asking who I considered to be the "old masters" here.

Ursula was among my first few names. She defines the style here, and I've found her style to be most difficult to effectively emulate.

Heck, I think it's time for a In the style of Ursula challenge. We could use some nice eyecandy. :)

BTW, I'm not even going to bother picking anything, because she's one of the rare ones where I just pretty much enjoy everything she does.

Well Ursula, was the first photographer on here that I noticed stood out from many of the others, I mean there are some excellent photographers on here, but there was something about Ursula that drew me to her work, she is has a sensitivity that many others could learn from, I think maybe she is my fave of all time on DP, no offence to others on here though.

I often for inspiration browse through her portfolio or website.

This one has always captivated me but then again I could also list her whole portfolio on here as well.

Ursula!!!! There is something so wonderfully real in her abstracts. And something so moving in her blurs. Even in b/w her images are colorful.
