I just finished making scans of almost seventy old Science Fiction "pulp" magazines form the 1940's and 1950's. I've uploaded them here.
Not photography, and not necessarily very good art, but a genre all it's own. I thought some of the DPC crew would enjoy these.

I made the scans prior to "boarding, bagging and boxing" the magazines in an attempt to keep them from further deterioration. Heck, some of them are close to seventy years old, and the paper they are printed on as well as the binding quality is, well, crap.

ETA: Here are three of my fav's:

A whole generation of literature is going to be lost as acid and oxygen dissolve the cheap paper used for these and most paperbacks ... any chance of flooding your storage boxes with nitrogen to slow the process?

I don't remember ever reading any of the ones you posted, but I sure did my share of reading other similar stuff. The old SF pulps were a big incentive to learn to read better when I was a kid.

I could definitely see making screen artwork out of some of them... have to be for personal use only though, I'm sure they are still covered by copyright. In fact, one of the publishers was Ziff-Davis, which of course is still in the Magazine Publishing biz.
