Langdon can breath a sigh of relief - The rebellion has been extinguished in its infancy.

Most of the SC are conspicuous by their absence - especially the ones who seem to have an opinion on everything - even though Langdon not around, they are worried they will upset things by not toeing the company line. They all wind their heads in on these threads.

You know what, that's both unfair and unnecessarily inflammatory. You really don't have a clue how any of the SC feel except what they have publicly posted, which has been uniformly positive on the matter of additions to the SC. As for "toeing the company line," you expect what, a public display of discord? The SC is entrusted to manage a lot of the day-to-day site operation, and as a management *team* they need to abide by the site rules and to present, as much as possible, a unified face to the community. So unless they are clearly stating that they are posting their personal opinion, their posts will reflect the *team* consensus.

I somehow doubt very much that they are overly concerned about this thread.

I seem to recall that we went through this very exercise a few year ago and that Bear_Music was the hands down favorite back then also and what happened you ask... well they added/filled slots with new people, some of whom I had never heard of.

I do wish Robert the best of luck and know that his addition would be a definite plus to this site, but until management enters the fray, this is almost an exercise in futility.

Reminds me of a time way back when, when I was bitching about the management and a superior told me: "When you are working your way UP the ladder, you tend to notice the a$$holes a lot more"

:O)

Not trying to blow things up any more, just stating a fact - you can go into any number of threads on here and the usual bunch are always posting - but these threads turn up from time to time and they literally fall silent - which is why I was so surprised, and pleased, when Frisca actually stuck her head above the parapet - which means she must REALLY be narked & exasperated about Langdons lack of interest in the site at the moment - that was so out of character for an SC in a thread such as this that. A new found respect for her in this situation.

No better than me... I wouldn't advocate for either of us... We're too straight forward in all truthfulness.

I applied and offered my services last time they added SC. I was told I wasn't a good fit.

That may have been during your chain saw phase during which everyone was a bit leary......

Edit to manually correct my phones auto correction of what was correct before it stepped in to mess with me!

I support that...pending a full report by the Squirrel Rights Commission of the UN, clearing Slippy of any wrongdoing in the "squirrel relocation" incident.

Why are people asking for certain SC members to be replaced? It seems like it's being supported by several people. Did I miss something? Did they sacrificed a cat or something?

The ones in this thread posted above are jokes.

The ones they want replaced are those that are inactive and not helping leaving the current SC too overloaded to accomplish anything in some sort of timely manner.

Here, let me write a little code to assess this scenario:

If (Slippy,Supreme_Ruler) = TRUE then Disaster = Impending Else Status = Quo

Hmmm, looks ominous! ;-)
