Ended too soon, as usual. Great last day (they had perfect weather!) and pleased to see them honor Big George. Olympic cycling up next!

I think I enjoyed the last 3 weeks as much if not more than any other TDF but that's probably because of the British first and second places!

I knew these guys were Iron men and warmed up before a race but cycling it (or most of it) the night before and then 'warming' up for 45 minutes before a race is madness!

Excellent TV and many of them will be back for the Olympics this week!

I was glad to see George honored too...I'll definitely miss him next year. Maybe he'll join the boys and do some commintating!?

OK...bring on the Olympics!! :-)

By the way, not sure why Chris Horner went off with George - anyone know?

I believe it had been agreed as Horner is another of the old guard who was riding his last tour.

I didn't realize Horner was retiring this year as well. Is Voigt retiring, or is he going to keep on keeping on? He's amazing!

I hope he stays in for a few more years...at 40, it's great to see him still attack like he does....He cracked me up as the truck driver in the comercial with Bob Roll...

Voigt will still be racing, he said in an interview as long as they want me I will keep racing. At 41 he still has the passion of a rookie and a reliability that is second to none.

The Road ID commercials were a blast! Also loved the "I Am Specialized" with the kid "racing" Tom Boonen while Phil and Paul made the call. Could live without the Michelob Ultra commercials, though.

And yes, always a pleasure to watch Jens Voigt race!
