They still have that? After Lance retired, I thought they closed.... ;-)
I love the Tour. It's a real test of man and chemistry. ;-)
All kidding aside, it's a heck of a sporting event, and never fails to have a lot of excitement.

cyclingnews is also a good website for coverage. They do live coverage as well - just read along. Some of the guys who do the writing are quite fun, too.
And yep, gotta go set the DVR to record the next three days!
As a word of warning, if you're going to discuss the day's stage, please warn us! Some of us don't get to see the stages until long after they've been contested.
Thanks - and here's to a great TdF!!
(No, Mae, I couldn't get over there in time. Darn people at work wouldn't give me the time off... bah!)

Oh...I thought the DMV changed your name to Lance some time ago and you could travel at the speed of light!
Bah Humbug on those pesky co-workers! |

Was there a death at the tour de france? My husband was listening to NPR and there was a weird story. They said there was a death at "the world's most grueling bike race" or something to that effect. They didn't specify the race. I guess someone went off and ended up hitting a tree.
I can't find anything in the news.

No real spoiler, but if you're stacking up the DVR recordings and wondering which are must-sees, make sure you see the last 15 minutes of Stage 5. |

It's worth watching. :-) Just remember that folks here watch tape delayed so don't comment on what happens. |

I watch it for the scenery, couldn't care less who wins, unless it was of course Cadel Evans again. |
