wow i took a shot and uploaded it even though i was not going to submit it. I just was interested in seeing how it would look. I forgot to unsubmit it and boy i am paying the price... 3.7 and i think i am lucky at that. maybe with a little luck i can get DQ'd... Did any one ever do that...

Legitamit entries do not get DQ'd, and we will not DQ on the basis of a low score.

i know you are only kidding with that reply right???
I know i was. I really didnt expect it to get dq'd because of a low score. Just looking for a little sympathy... Geez

I know how you feel, the same thing happened to me during the June Free Study Challenge last month. I was to unsubmit and had computer trouble and couldn't, it sucked.

I also know what it feels like to submit a photo you know is some of your worst work! And I've only been a member for a couple of weeks!

But the way that I'm looking at it is that at least I've tried with something and I get my photo rated against the others. It's also interesting to see what other people think of what I think is bad!

My problem seems to be that I don't have enough time to spend on my shots - I am a hard working girl in Zimbabwe and between running a fuel station and exporting steel I hardly have an hour in the day to myself to think about what I am going to photograph! So I take the shot at the last minute and submit it anyway! Is this a bad thing?

Hopefully for the future I will be able to take decent shots with the minimum amount of time spent after learning from my past 'mistakes'. It's a real learning curve for me as I am more of a wildlife fanatic but I think the best thing is to at least give it a shot!

di, you havent lived till you come last, or nearly...
my first entries were done with tongue in cheek and did poorly.

by the looks of things you are doing very well.
[i am originally from zim]

its fun submitting, dont get too fussed about the score, some of those
spontaneous shots score higher.
