So I have this big red notice saying that my membership expires in 19 days. I figured that I should renew, because I think it's fun to take photos. My husband thinks I shouldn't renew because before I did DPC, I used to do things like cook and clean and obnoxious things like that.

It seems like a pretty straightforward decision. My husband thinks so too.

HA! I can see the problem. My husband cooks and cleans now ;)
However, did you book at Betty Ford? DPC addiction is worse than smoking, drugs and alcohol combined! ;)

I tried to get in there, but they already had too many DPCers that have been there much longer!

Right! So there is no point even trying to kick the habit...

I'm right there with you. Mine expires in 10 days. I'll renew but the extra storage was too expensive and will not be added to the membership this year.

I know what you're up against because I hate making decisions too .. but I also know cooking isn't everything - buy your husband a camera!

I've been off and on like this for the last several years, so I know the feeling. DPC would not be the same without vawendy, sorry.

How incredibly kind! There's nohing to decide. Of course I'm renewing. I'm way too addicted to this place.

I was just being silly. My husband's reaction was funny, so I thought I'd post it. :)

Lol at your 'predicament' Wendy! You're in sympathetic company, coz that sounds just like me and mine. I wish Bear's solution could be that easy. Anyway, I never doubted which way your decision was going to go, and I'm glad you aren't going to disappear into the kitchen.

Too many female voices in here, so I'ma take your husband's side and say you should quit DPC and make sammiches. :P

Welcome back Linda!

See Wendy, you can always come back after two years of making sammiches. :)

...let it expire and make your hubby the worst meals you can think of! Then become a cleaning freak, make him park on the street in case the car leaks oil on the driveway, have him take his shoes off before he gets out of the car and then make him wear swiffer slippers that you can make in your spare time!!! Not only will you be back on DPC but he'll pay for a lifetime of memberships....If you play your cards right he'll throw in the extra fee for more storage too!!!
