I have the cheapest plan available with Rogers, but it really ticks me off how much it costs and how little we get out of it.

I have a "List of Grievances" I may be phoning with soon. One of them might be how much more bang for the buck Americans get.

We have 3 cell phones.
$15 Pooled family plan gets us 50 minutes each (pooled to 150) per month talk time. Unlimited weekends or after 9:00pm.
$15 Value Pack gets us 500 texts each, call display, and voicemail. Probably some other garbage we'd never care about.

Add those all together and the monthly bill comes to:

$ 128

I am right lucky I guess.

The phone I use is issued by work and all I have to pay for is the personal calls... which I rarely make.

I got a Telus phone for my daughter and the monthly package for that is $30.00 and I am thinking of a "Prepaid Plan" since she doesn't make a dozen calls a month.

Neither of us have texting, nor any other features for that matter.

I also have a pooled family plan with 3 phones, but technically it's not really pooled since it's unlimited talk, text, and on one phone data. $160 month.

I`m on a business tariff in UK - 2 x iphones with all bolt-ons - unlimited calls to each other, unlimited calls after 6pm to landline & same network - 500 texts, unlimited interenet - £78 per month - actually rather good for rip off UK, and that includes `own fault damage/loss` insurance on each iPhone.

1.5 hours on the phone and pretty much nothing fun.

They're looking into geting a PS3 for me, they'll get back to me on that one.

All three phones have unlimited talk starting at 6pm now.

I'm with Giff Gaff in the UK, which is a SIM only deal - I pay £10 per month for 250 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data - which I use with my iPhone 4S. It runs on the O2 network (I was previously with O2 so coverage suits me fine). I think it's a pretty sweet deal - plus you get money back for helping in the community forums and for recruiting other users - so far in 6 months, 3 months have been free due to friends and family signing up :-)

That's about the same as my bill... For one phone. Of course, in the end, it's loaded with every reasonable option (no tethering and no navigation service - both are easy to do with software).... Then again, I don't mind because I couldn't do my job without it.

My wife and I share a family plan, $140 a month and I get a 23% discount. 2gb internet each phone and share unlimited texting. We dropped our house phone to make it more bearable.

Our home phone is Vonage VOIP for $20 a month, and we get good use out of it. I'm SO ticked off!

Reminds me of a call I once made regarding a laptop problem I had.

I ended up somewhere in India, talking to someone called Bub, who truly did not care that I had covered all the steps from one to fourteen...he was adamant that we go through even single step one at a time.

When we got to fourteen, guess what...he had no answer for me and in the process of transferring me to some other person managed to hang up on me.

Guess who no longer owns that laptop and has no need to talk to Bub anymore.
