I can make the 15th and also have never been up the Smith Tower. I guess being a Smith I should go.

Also, you can bring tripods up to the Smith Tower, so bring your zoom and wide angle for interior shots. Parking will be free on Sunday, but the tower is $7.00 paid after the ride up.

Still not sure if work will keep me from going, but if I can go either day works just as well for me.

Smith's Tower was featured on the news tonight, it will be sold by Auction in March as it was foreclosed, I believe. The building is 70% vacant, wow! So that means we definitely are able to get in?

I called them today and they will be open on Sunday from 10am - 4pm. I'll see you guys down there.

Will check that out, as I haven't been to that area much.

Besides, the weather is looking a bit iffy that day, with rain/snow showers. Don't think that is going to stop me...might have to invest in a rain sleeve for the camera.

Well, I hafta work this weekend. :-( Woulda liked to meet a bunch of you on Sunday. I hope the weather cooperates, since it now calls for snow starting Saturday evening (at least north of Seattle).

Sorry to be a spoil sport but I have to bag out. I committed to doing a photo class at the senior center this week and thought I would have the prep work all done by now. Did not finish it today and have an engagement tonight so that leaves Sunday ... darn.

Have fun without me and just drop my name for entry into the Tower.
