Seems like a lot of you are enthusiastic, mainly PennyStreet so we can start now.

I refuse to start until 2012! I like starting things on New Year's Day.

Sorry to sound so ignorant, but can you please tell me how to post an image here. It asks for the url. Do I post to my portfolio?

Yes, put the image in your portfolio. Then open it and in the url you will see the image number.
In this message space choose the icon second over from the right... click and it says "enter the ID of the image found in the URL"
I hope this helps

Thanks for the Lensbaby link Penny. A very interesting piece of equipment. I'm thinking I want one now :)

I have a lensbaby composer coming in the mail today, I just rented it along with another lens and body for a wedding this weekend but I hope I can play with it some and see if I want to buy it. Hope to have some shots to post on here next week.

Lucky you. Penny sent me the link and now I wish she hadn't cause I want one and can't really justify it at present. Oh well, starting to save. Look forward to seeing your images :)

Went to my backyard and tried a couple of different ways to achieve blur that’s interesting. Not unhappy but I think I’ve got a bit to learn yet.

Lensbaby rental arrived so I promptly attached it and headed outside to see what it can do. I may be in love now. Got home at 4pm, unpacked everything, shot with it, uploaded to computer and now to dpc before 5pm. Yeah this lens is great.

This was taken after my daughters graduation, life in high school goes by so quick almost like a blur .

Added some drops to this orchid to give him some "eyes". The shallow depth of field gave the blur to make them stand out. Comments appreciated.

This is my first post on any side challenge. I think you might be after a different kind of blur than I have posted?
