It's so cool to see so many people who are headed for either a personal best or one of their top scores. I'm just still pinching myself because I was totally intimidated by this challenge and had every one of Roz' award winning bug images in my mind as the bar. But I entered it anyway, and lo and behold, it is way way wayyyyyy better than I would have ever dreamed. Especially after seeing some of the other amazing photos.

| Maybe it's a love of bug thing (and I do like bugs) but while I am enjoying voting the challenge, so far it hasn't struck me as particularly high scoring from my perspective. Doesn't take away from those of you who think it is, though. Just a different opinion. |

I'm guessing this is the part of bug's life where the bugs are happily swarming around getting higher and higher off the ground, not realizing they are in the middle of the road, and a semi-truck is headed their way. |

The semi passed my bug last night. Not a pretty site. I have received two short but acurate comments and I know why my photo is not doing as well as it could. Time for a new monitor to process photos. Lesson Learned.... |

mine had a higher start, too, and i was hoping to get a reshuffle on my profile page ... but unless there is some pickup over the weekend*, it probably won't make it.
