I've noticed that my posts and score updates are three hours ahead of my time zone (pacific). I tend to get confused when looking at threads relevant to the time (for example, I wouldn't post 13 hours later in the "Which one should I choose" thread -- it's no longer useful in most cases). I've gone through the FAQ, and looked around in my preferences, but I don't see any way to change this.

Is there a reason for this, or just the default way the server is set to handle the time?

I believe everything here is server time, east coast.

Don't know if it'll help (or if you already know this or not), but at the very bottom of the screen is local server time.

That's correct: every post, every entry, everyTHING, is logged by server time, not local time. Or chaos would ensue. As Karmat said, server time is displayed at lower right of every screen.

That'll help me out, I didn't realize the server time is in the lower corner. Thanks.
