No bassbone comment, yet. :(

Maybe tomorrow!! :)

It's nice to have something to look forward to! :)

But maybe he won't comment on all. :(

But maybe he will! :)

(can you tell I'm bored? :)

You have rated 103 of 146 images (71%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 94 of 146 images (64%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 5.5437.

I am getting there, but there are a few that I really don't think I will have have anything at all to say...my guess is that yours will not be among those my friend...

:D !!

I'm actually truly impressed with you commenting on this challenge. I was thinking about commenting on how I thought people met the challenge, but my knowledge is limited to one week of viewing his photos. However, I did go through the 3000 many, many times, so I definitely have an opinion. But I think I'd just irritate people who know more than I do.

Same here - I took "flat" as a feature of Weston's style but then anything looks flat on my laptop! :) Thanks

Thanks for the comment Peter and I'm sure you're correct. At least this evenings voters have me back up to the heady height of 5.13xx. :-D

I have received 10 comments on my entry (thank you)....and most do mention the one problem with my image. However, I feel that the 'problem' is what makes the image a Weston image. I guess I have really missed the mark on this challenge.

About where I figured it to be and definitely much better than a self portrait nude would have scored!

Edit to add: for those who think I am making fun of someone else it has nothing to do with any other person's entry and everything to do with the fact you really do not want to see me nude..... Carry on!

I only entered this challenge at the last moment and entered a photo I took before I had even seen the Edward Weston challenge. The photo was taken whilst I was on holiday and I did not even know about the Edward Weston challenge yet. So when I saw the challenge I just entered one of my holiday shots that I thought would be the closest thing to Weston's style and converted it to B&W. It really isn't at all Weston's style, it's more my own style ha ha ha...anyway...it's doing badly thanks ha ha ha personally I like it very much warts and all for exactly what it is. A raw cut of life without any pretense.

Ps. Oh and I'm glad I didn't enter a shell or a bell pepper or a lettuce leaf or a posing nude.
I left an explanation in my photographers comments for this image explaining the reason for the "fault" that most of the comments mention. I find the "fault" actually adds to the reality of the moment and it's a pity that others cannot see that.

Well I didn't think it would as badly as this quite frankly
