Would be nice. I've practically given up with challenges (apart from the FS) this may get me motivated.

Would y'all want a juried component again, like last time?

If there's going to be a jury it needs to be organized and in place BEFORE the challenge is announced. And it is possible that the act of empaneling a jury will speed the implementation of the challenge: it seemed like it might have, last time.

So this thread ought to be a good place to get a vibe going on the subject. Vibes is good :-)

Same jury? Different jury? Mix? Speak up!

If all members are willing, the same jury would be best I think... Or at least maintain a good portion of the old jury.

I would wish to be on that jury.

If I am still on the jury, you have my support. I'd love to be on a jury with you.

How many were on the jury last year? 5?

I wasn't around last year when this challenge passed, could someone please explain the concept of the jury and their role in this challenge?

They exist to make sure the idiots voting don't get to pick all the winners, in effect, they are there to reward "true" fine art shots that will likely be passed over by the majority of voters.

So there is no voting, just the ranking as determined by jury?
