What are some of the images that you've seen here that stick with you? That you remember from the first time you ever came to this site? or that your remember from the first time you saw them?

The one I remember from the very first time I ever saw this place was of a mouse. It was a ribbon winner. For the life of me I can't remember who shot it and it's not in my favs cause I don't think I had an account then and it took me awhile before I realized that feature even existed. I remember the image but I remember reading about that image too. Seems the creator and pulled a dead mouse out of her pool in the winter and then used a blow dryer on it to get it nice a fluffly. I remember that image and would love to see it again so if anyone knows who it belongs to, please let them know I wanna see it again. Or if you know this image please post a thumb. :-)

Another image that sticks with me is this one by edmeng
I think of this image often. (And I did have it marked as a fav.) I think this is an outstanding image. I love everything about it. I think it is totally perfect.

There also another image I remember which was also on the front page when I started coming here. It was a guy whose face was being stepped on AND it was a self portrait.

So what images from DPC are stuck in your mind?

Looking through my favourites, I saw many wonderful photos that I am ashamed I had forgotten. But this is the one that I was looking for:

it's always enjoyable to 'surf' through other peoples 'favourites', then choose one of them, follow it back to the owner and surf through their favourites as well . .

A great way to discover new or forgotten about treasures.
