LOL - my 'tomorrow' starts at 9:00pm tonight.
And I have my first image ready.
Who gets to be first? Hmmmmm?

Ok - might as well kick it off here and now. I may be a little late getting my own first pics up (dealing with flooding in the house).

Repost of original details:
Pretty simple - a 12 day side challenge with a holiday theme (bright side or dark side). Doesn't have to be a partridge or anything to do with the song (but if you can get some shots of 8 maids a milking or 9 ladies dancing, you get extra credit). Anything goes as far as editing. No minimum # of images, but a max of one image per day for the 12 days (Mon, Dec. 13th through Fri, Dec 24th). Any December Holiday themed photos are welcome. And remember, they don't all have to be cheery. Just like me, the holidays also have a dark side. ;-)

Here's the official participant list (latecomers are welcome as well)

Sorry to hear about your flooding, ArtRoflmao, hope you get it under control so Santa doesn't have to bail his sleigh out on the big night!

Here's the first of my 12 Day images. the general theme is 'drive by shooting' where all images will be taken from my car, usually in traffic. Should lead to some strange photography.

This is the gingerbread house I made this year. I didn't get the snow quite right in the photo, so I might try it again and replace it down the line. But just in case I run out of time... :)

I was lazy and didn't get any good photographs but I thought this snapshot from the Christmas party we went to on Saturday was worth sharing.

You never know what you will run into on the streets of San Francisco. yesterday I was coming home from my Christmas-type explorations and as I rounded a corner, there were two horses and a wagon just parking in front of a little community area (24th and Castro for those who know the City). A quick run around the block and three fast shots were my reward for this find. No parking and too much traffic kept me moving.

#2 Holiday Horses

Love the comment from Ken:
Comment by Art Roflmao:
I ran into Karl Malden on the Streets of San Francisco one time. ;-)

Yeah, you have a virtual cornucopia of visually interesting sights at your disposal. Great job on this one, Alice. Did you get any full shots of the wagon?

At one time, I spent a lot of time trying not to run into Karl Malden when they were filming.
:))
No, no wagon, as I was using the 70-300 and was waaaaay to close. Those horses are full frame. But, yes, there is plenty to play with in this town.

Day 2 - totally unplanned. I walked past it this morning on the way to the kitchen and . . . "hey - that'd make a pretty good shot!"
