Well you can't really sit in that Starbucks at all. They get sort of angry if you just plop down on the floor in the middle of their tourist attraction. ;)

I'll have to check out my schedule, but I might be able to make it.

The sculpture park is good. There's also an Australia festival happening at Seattle Center on Saturday //www.aussieinseattle.com/

I'm getting pumped for this. I just got on the train less than 2 hours ago and have 21 hours to go before I get up to Seattle. RobA is picking me up, along with his friend. I haven't seen anything in the area in years, so I'm open for whatever. :)

Wouldn't you know it, though... Just an hour after leaving home, I discovered that I forgot my R-Strap. I'll manage. :(

Don't sweat it. Last time I forgot my G-String, but nobody noticed. :P

Looking forward!

Alright, the only thing I've got going on that day is a roommate's birthday party in the evening, so I'll be there, original Starbucks, 11am on the 22nd! Looking forward to meeting all of you!

I think I will anonymously call the Seattle Police and the local news and tell them there is going to be a potentially violent protest rally by Anarchist photographers in Pike Place on Saturday morning. That should make for some good photo ops. ...bringing my gas mask, too.

I think maybe I'll shoot this one with my iPhone... from across the street.

True anarchists are inherently non-violent and instead believe in cooperative problem solving and consensus. Please pick some other group to stereotypically stigmatize this time ... thank you.

Yeah Art, maybe it would be better to say there are group of suspicious people wielding Canons all over the market.

I was hoping they'd have a live web-cam at the Market, but the closest I could find was CrabCam ...

Rather, I suggest that you pick a different title for your non-violent, cooperative, problem-solving group. :P

Yes, and since I'm the head chief honcho anarchist, I'm sure they'll all go along unquestioningly with my suggestion ... ;-)

Seriously, would anarchists obey a general? Isn't that a bit like the "Hermits of America: UNITE!" bumper sticker I saw once?

Just a weather update: the forecast for dry and partly sunny has changed (on some forecasts) to 30% chance of rain (which is practically a dry forecast for here!). So, partly sunny may have shifted to Seattle Softbox lighting, instead :-)

I'm looking forward to meeting some new people at the GTG, but don't know that I will have time to stay with the group for long. I'll be out of there very quickly if Art starts parading around in his g-string... ;)

Someone mentioned the group visiting the Olympic Sculpture Park. I think that would be fun for those who haven't already seen it. For those that are able to walk a bit it's quite doable as a walk from the meeting point (a mile at most). There are stops with waterfront views along the way too. The also mentioned Seattle Center isn't a long walk from the Sculpture Park either. The Monorail could be used from there to get people back closer to the meeting point if they aren't up for walking back.

Frank ( caba) is only gonna be able to hang for a couple hours. He suggested we should do a few group photos very early on before folks start drifting off (or before I strip down to my g-string).

Yes, I was a little concerned about what Frank's energy level might be like that day when I suggested walking places.
Looking forward to seeing you again Frank and hope you will feel up to hanging with the group for a good spell :)

There will be lots of places near the meeting point for group photos...
