Hi guys. I finally did it. Worked with front page and build a website from scratch. I did not use no templates or anything. I'd like to have comment on the layout, the design, the photo and particularly my banner at the top of the site. (not the actual add banner put there by the host, the one with my name)
I would also be interested in a banner exchange with somebody else web site if someone is interested too. thanks in advance.

It's very blue!
You have a lot of empty spaces, especially at the bottom of most of the pages, and also at the top on a lot of them too. The banner is fine although it all kind of blends together and doesnt really stand out. I'm also not a big fan of the font as it seems very squished and small and some characters are hard to make out. I do like the layout of the individual photo page with the image and the text on the left. The navigation also seems to be adequate and easy to follow.

| Is there a reason the L is not capitalized on your banner? Try using other background colors on each page. |

I would like the ability to click next to go to the next image instead of going back.

Maybe you could use frames to keep a constant side navigational bar. Here's mine (work in progress) as an example //www.d14photography.com/ which was also made in front page. Also you might want to look into making the text in photoshop and then using the graphics in front page. Gives it a nicer smoother look. My last suggestion,... new color scheme. lol. Great start though.

Yes, it certainly is. I think you might want to reconsider the choice of background color. Especially when combined with the text/frame color you've chosen. You might also consider choosing a common easy to read font. Verdana perhaps?
Does your host allow SSI? It might be nice to have consistent navigation throughout as another said. I'm not that fond of frames but SSI would give you the same functionality without the headache.

Actually, if you can avoid it, you should try not to use frames. If you check out any "big" website, you'll notice that none of them use frames. See this article for some reasons to avoid them.
The best thing to do is use as an HTML editor (such as DreamWeaver, but I'm sure many others) that allows you to definie a template that includes your navigation bar. If/when you have to change your nav bar, you edit the template, and any pages that use it to are automatically updated by your editor. |

| The only real bitch is the bookmarking issue. All the other reasons listed on that website are why I chose to use frames. Go figure. |

| You can easily emulate a frame-like experience using CSS without most of the frame-based drawbacks. I think the PgUp/PgDown issue is the only one and that's mostly browser-dependent. |
