Due to popular demand (even though it's not the 1st yet), here's the thread for images.

iPhone and other camera phone (plus apps) Side Challenge

Rules, well, there are none really, except use your iPhone, Droid or whatever. Process in camera, or on your computer, anything goes. If you do use an app on your phone for processing, it would be great if you would share it. Apart from that, post when you want, however many you want and most of all have fun!

So, I'll kick this thread off then.

This first one is processed in camera with an app called Picture Show. This is the Holga plus light leak.

The border was done in Picture show, the resize in PS.

Oh, and here's the same building actually taken with a Holga (Double Exposure!) I think I prefer the iPhone version :)

I know its not the first yet, but I want to play early!!! These were all taken with my Droid using an app called "Retro Camera"

I love purely random photos, so I tend to shoot alot with my Droid, since it is much less obvious than pulling out my 7D!

Just wanted to add a thought here sarah, that half the fun is getting comments. Based on the productivity of the Wotever sc, it can be a bit overwhelming, so it would be nice if at the very least, the poster would take the time to comment on the previous poster's images :-)

Yarr. My goal will be roughly to comment on at least one photo by each person that's posted on a day that I post, which (if past SCs are any indication) will mean that I give slightly more comments than I get :)

...also note that salmiakki kindly changed her rules for me by allowing out-of-camera editing, so those who want to skip commenting on mine can do so, as I expect most will be editing in-phone. That is, don't feel the need to comment on mine when I comment on yours. :-)

Let's see how it goes, usually the first few days are filled with images and comments and then both tail off by mid month, so it will be more manageable.

Orange Box is my favorite as well! I just downloaded Camera 360, it seems to have alot of fun filters. Have you used it?

Hogwash, Louis!! I always comment on yours because as a rule, they are FABULOUS. I have enough time to comment on more than some people, so let the fun begin and comment when you can.

Well since it isn't really September yet here I'll use something from my camera roll I took a few weeks ago in L.A.
"Armageddon"

*All editing done with Camera Bag app using "1974" filter.

PS- Thanks for the tip on the Picture Show app Sarah. It looks like a fun one and it did a great job with your Holga-like image.

Adding a couple more from my camera roll using my newly acquired Picture Show app- I like it :-)

So I have to figure out how to make my images larger. I'm shooting with a Droid. Have downloaded a bunch of the apps mentioned here and did a test drive today. Here are a few images of the same subject, using different filters.

Nothing serious yet. Just getting a rough idea of what the apps do.

I'm using the iPhone "Hipstamatic" app, with just the default lenses.
