I thought rollover voting would be brisk, with so few entries in this one.

Last 3 voters brought it back to a reasonable level.

I am having a horrid time voting this one. Most of the Titles are QUOTES, not MIS-QUOTES.

Are they actually quotes or are they such common misquotes that you're not catching it?

Some are actual quotes

Most are actual misquotes - if you google something like "famous misquotes" you'll see.

I got slammed pretty hard last night - went to bed with a 3.75 but woke up to a 5.13.

Well the very first one I voted on is an actual Quote for sure
I'm actually taking care to research every one before I finalize my vote

I just hit the "quote" button :)

I've also researched them so far, it's gonna take all week. Should the image be marked down -1 because of a poorly researched title? I hope Blue, Red, Yellow actually have MIS-quotes, but I doubt it.

Starting to fall again, I hope people aren't thinking mine isn't a misquote lol

But sometimes the actual quotes themselves are mis-quotes. That's the way it is in my case. Yoggi Berra is a huge example of this.....I was going use one of his, until I found a better one from someone else, and played that into my photo.

Exactly! People need to look at misquotes not quotes when they are researching. : )

I am more than well aware how to research a quote and trust me when I say that there are titles in this challenge that are not misquotes.
The problem here maybe as a result of doing what you suggest.
Researching misquotes without researching the quotes can well lead to someone believing they have a misquote when in fact they may not.

A classic one here is someone claims that abc is a misquote and it was actually cba, when in fact abc was actually used by another character in the same film
so in this case no, abc is not a misquote

I'm just concerned that when people google a quote they just get the quote and who (supposedly said it), and not the explanation of why it's a misquote. Carry on!

Ok let me give you an example of one without calling it out

It is listed as a misquote from a film
However I can show film clips of various characters using the line........
