Like the cheap alternatives for the 300D, is there one for the 10D?

E.g. some people use mobile phone accessories, etc.. to get the same effect as the real shutter release cable.

The TC-80N3 is great, well worth the $130.

Wow some very nice features for the price, but how often do you use them?

I use mine often, actually just used it tonight.

I also use it when I am doing macro shots and for my astrophotography.

I only paid $129 for mine @ B&H

Anyone that has used the TC-80N3, have you used a custom, or cheaper model?

Any thought on the benefits of this more expensive model?

I've used the multishot mode several times.

I certainly have used the variable delay exposure on occasion.

I also use the long exposure timer option quite a lot.

A lot of the time I just use it as a cable release for mirror lock up/ shutter release on macro work, but I've used the other features on occasion, including for one winning DPC shot.

That's odd. I paid CDN $ 90, which is US $ 69, for the TC-80N3.

Sure that isn't an RS-80N3 ? (just the remote switch, without the timer functions that is about $50 in the US) If not, you got a good deal :)

Ah yes, it sure is the RS. Senility, folks. Where are my glasses?
