The only problem with that, though, is that your average always goes up. It's like a pyramid scheme. It can't be sustained.
Instead if you could get in the range of your average +/- the standard deviation of your scores, assuming they're normally distributed, you'd be doing well.

when you start with 4.7, it takes a long time before growth can no longer be sustained :D

I'd love to stay in this kind of range.
I was 5.9 this morning and was very excited. Still. It's currently 22% better than my average score (outside of my standard deviation! but I've a tiny sample so it's fine), so I'm far from complaining :) |
