Here are the rules.......I don't really like rules.

Posting images......post as many as you like(within reason) or as few as you can(people do have lives beyond DPC) Don't they?

Commenting on images.........please comment on as many images a day as you post. At least one comment on someones image on a day you post your own image. Comments are helpful to the learning process!

I'll get it started with a quick shot before the rain comes tonight. Bugs are gone due to high winds and rain coming. I had to hold this with one hand, camera with the other.

Edited to add another image rather then put another bump to the thread. Rain left and wind calmed down.

I'm thinking of doing mini-people for this macro challenge, it's something I've been working on lately.

This is from Sunday

edit to add: The Damsel fly hit this little fly when it was resting on a leaf. I guess it stunned the fly. Then it came right back after 2-3 seconds and grabbed the fly and flew off a few feet to rest on this other plant and began chomping away. I was quite pleased that I was able to get so close. This is just barely cropped.

You do!! Just go out and look for them. Find a pond or a patch of woods or even the shrubs around the neighborhood. Bugs are EVERYWHERE :D

I go hiking in the woods and go to the pond/lake all the time... we really dont... its kind of sad.. all we have are bees.. but im deathly allergic so I try to stay clear... we do however have lots of birds... and flowers.

I could not go outside today because of the rain so I thought I would shoot something that most people overlook... Scan you guess what it is?

This was taken with my 50mm reversed at aperture f/22 and 30 sec exposure. Enjoy my first of many shots this month!

I'll get to some commenting a little later, but first, I'll start off by posting two macro-like shots I did for challenges some time ago.

for the Hidden Gem challenge

and

for the Straight challenge.

I'll be going to shoot soon, just didn't have a chance just now.
