I was just wondering if anyone out there knows how to use an old Kodak six- 16 brownie? They don't make 616 film anymore , but my husband recently found an article stating that you can adapt 35mm film to work on the camera.But we couldn't find instructions on how to do this or a place to purchase the film spools. Anyone ever heard of this or done this? We would love to give it shot if anybody can point us in the direction!

Not for a 616 format, no, but we DID convert 220 roll film to fit some obscure, antique format long ago; I can't remember exactly what it was, but I distinctly remember fussing around in pitch black in the darkroom cutting the damned film and then rolling it onto salvaged spools. It was a monumental hassle, and WE had a fully professional darkroom dedicated to film processing only. With another one for printing, obviously, but that's neither here nor there.
It was the cutting that was difficult, of course.
